This, weirdly, feels like a Monday. (Long story.) It is, of course, a Thursday, and the first of August - a fact that is hard to accept. How did that happen?? How did we ever come to this? Who can explain it? Who can tell you why?

We're in for another heat wave, or at least a rwo-day one, as it's going to 91 or above today and tomorrow. I said I'd *finally* get to GREASE at the outdoor theeder tonight, and I'm trying to psych myself up to sticking to that. I really don't like leaving things like this to the last weekend and taking a chance that weather or anything else will interfere. This day evening are guaranteed to be dry, and that's worth plenty.

Tomorrow morning, my six-month visit to the dermatologist. I will almost certainly be splotchy for a few days after he freezes a few areas. Totally worth it, of course.

I think DR JOHN G's dream would make a great Hitchcock movie.

Two people have expressed interest in the part....I have heard from one but need to hear from the other before I cast the role.

Every morning the FOX News feed on my computer contains headlines on at least three stories about the ASSassination attempt.....they are certainly trying to make that happen - at the direction of the fool himself.

Associates say he thought the story would create headlines for him for weeks.....HA!

And there's a Dreamsicle salad made with orange Jell-O and vanilla pudding, Cool Whip and marshmallows.

The 70s are back.

I love most of the starring actors in Hitchcok films, but it's the supporting cast that truly shines in some of them...for me.

Last night I watched Family Plot again. I'm very fond of both it and Frenzy. I want to watch The Trouble with Harry again.

Slept extremely well, happy to say.

Had vivid dreams that were a bit nonsensical, but basically about neatness/orderliness and efficiency.

Don't ask.
