No one nowadays would ever use the original lyric for any reason, so "roasting peanuts" definitely is a good rewrite.

I got some of their (returned limited edition) Hot Orange Chicken (it's good but it's not very spicy hot to me ::) ), some Kung Pao Chicken, and because I get a free item (I have a discount card), I also got their regular Orange Chicken.
