I slept much better last night than I did the night before, which is good. I have no idea what fresh hell will come rolling in today. I am still very unhappy that the water will be turned off again tomorrow. This may screw up my visit with my retiring attorney who planned to show up and deal with a healthcare proxy.

Tropical Storm Debbie has given us a lot of rain. I would have thought she'd have blown on by, but she deigned to take her time and soak us in a broad band of the southeastern United States.

Of course, if the Cheeto and Project 2025 ever get their chance, we shall suredly be the "Untied" states.
