Last night I got asked to meet for a rehearsal of one number today at noon. After that I must finally make quick stops at a couple of stores. Must, I tell you. Absolutely must.

If they had a bar at the side of the Olympic diving pool, that would be a true Dive Bar.

Nothing.

I do turn on the TV once or twice daily to watch or hear a little bit of the Olympics.

Last night, BK wrote: "Perhaps I should tell the tale of The Randy Vicar and the Pipe Cleaner."

It is feeling like the plots of GRANTCHESTER built around this season's brand new Vicar seem to be taking a cue from the concept of a "Randy Vicar."

Regarding BK's marrying Audrey Hepburn in his dream in the Notes:

In this era where the likes of Emily Blunt married the likes of John Krasinski, and the likes of Scarlett Johansson married the likes of Colin Jost, the possibility of the likes of Audrey Hepburn marrying the likes of BK doesn't seem far-fetched.

Trying a mint-saffron tea I brought back from Greece. It’s really good. Wish I had bought more than one box.

I don’t know if the library has that. But I wouldn’t mind seeing it.

There's a wonderful abridged BBC version in the "Helen Mirren at the BBC" collection.

I believe Huntz Hall has a part in Valentino. I wonder if it is substantial.

I enjoyed their first album. Sort of the soundtrack of summer 1991, working at a summer camp in the mountains of South Carolina.

BK is at least as dashing and debonair as Ben Gazzara.

That's a good point!

Blake Edwards got Julie Andrews to do a topless scene in "S.O.B."  Who knows - maybe Audrey Hepburn in a movie like "The First Nudie Musical" could have been on the table?

In yesterday's blog, BK wrote:

"Getting into a discussion with people who LOVE something to excess and beyond all reason is a fool’s game, but it’s hard to not respond. That part is fine – what’s not fine is the pile on by the three FANatics who cannot stop with the responses and post things that you have to respond to so that factual information is not lost in the wilderness."

While the cat didn't actually die, it certainly is curious about the subject matter of said discussion!!!

Cat is also curious about what is far-fetched about Emily Blunt being married to John Krasinski.  Is it the fact that one is British and the other American, or is there something odd about the pairing that the cat is  not seeing?
