Never drink prosecco when eating a filet mignon!  You should always drink reds with beef!

Now to the important thing:

I am shocked, I tell you, SHOCKED!

DR springdraw has completely ignored the most important thing about today!

it is INTERNATIONAL LEFTHANDERS DAY!

That is correct.  It's today.  Why didn't DR stripstraw acknowledge this!

I am appalled.  Yes!  That's it!  Appalled.

Last night, BK wrote: "Speaking of salacious - how about The Randy Vicar and the Tsetse Fly."

If there's a possible variation on stories about a Randy Vicar, I suspect the new Vicar on GRANTCHESTER will be involved in some version of it.

The writing is still quite good, though, and the new star is quite excellent as an actor, but Randy Vicar seems to be the persona the writers have chosen as the direction to take the show.

APPALLED could be another misread title for APPLAUSE, couldn't it?

What is it that we feel today?
Appalled! Appalled!

Does anyone know - does Randy Rainbow write his videos himself, or does he have a staff that helps with that?

For example, his website has someone listed as
Executive Producer
Musical Director
Arranger
Pianist

Wow!  Do you know if Sondheim ever mentored him?

It's interesting to see that he was in the cast of the City Center Encores CALL ME MADAM!

He tells all in his autobiography, which was fun.

Short answer is no. But Sondheim was a fan, which meant the world to Randy.

On his site, https://www.randyrainbow.com
he does take "song requests" meaning gives a space to fill out if you have ideas

"What song would you like Randy to parody? - Enter the song title"
"Explain yourself! - Briefly describe your idea"

Tree people are grinding up what they're cutting down. I don't hear anything of the cutting down, but the grinding up may as well be happening next to me.

Sammy Cahn is a lyricist - the painting is by a composer with many classics in The Great American Songbook, with some B'way shows, and lots of movie songs. I found the painting itself fascinating.
