THE BLANK PAGE
« on: September 07, 2005, 12:07:11 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, you are ready to attack your collective blank pages with a fervor the likes of which we have never seen, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're just trying to figure out what a blank page is, and then they'll be on their way.

St Thomas the Apostle who doubted so much said in one of his epistles that DRs living outside of the USA should take no part in today's topic.

I'm going to use the Wussburger excuse and say that I have to go to sleep and I'll think about the Topic of the Day...later (a Little Night Music reference.) ;)

DR TOMOVOZ,
Fall and Spring are my favorite seasons, too, but unfortunately these are very brief.  Your Time Zone and Mine are very close (only an hour difference?) but our seasons are perfectly opposite. Inscrutable! ???

My aunt found an interesting stuff, a hair cream made in Australia, Silver Check, which makes your hair gradually change grey hair to natural looking colour (brunette only!). I hard it’s made with natural herb and the original of it is from Aboriginal culture.  Seems to me that that is going to be popular for senior women/men in Japan. (I think all dear readers are not interested in it and not need it, since you all seem to have no brunette hair and too young to use it if you have brunette one) :)

DR VIXMOM816,
Hope the Vixter had a good first day in seventh grade.

The Vixter’s story recalled me that there were two-sister bullies near my house when I was 6 or 7 years old, one of them was younger than me and the other was older than me, and they threw small rocks at me  every time I went out from the door of my house.  I told it my mother and she protected strongly about it to their mother BUT surprisingly she said only that she didn’t care about children’s fight (it’s not fight!).  >:(  Thankfully, the evil family moved out a few months later.  :)

Good morning, all!  Tuesday is Wednesday, and time is out of joint for me.  Today is more of Messrs Harold Arlen and Ira Gershwin, and I'm enjoying myself.  I, too, received yesterday my copy of STAGES, which I'm taking to the recording office this morning.

My publisher contacted me yesterday to report some missing orchestra parts had been found, so that's a bit of pressure off my deadlines of the next month, and a missing friend materialized yesterday so Tuesday was a good news day (keeping Ira Gershwin in mind).

TOD:  Well, the things I haven't approved of in the government since 9/11 include the manner in which our current administration is allowing two terrorist attacks to encourage a ridiculous but frightening "Homeland Security" system I think is one more step in its nazification of America and to promote a "war on terror" mentality to keep itself empowered.  FEMA is now caught up in the Homeland Security nonsense and since our puppet president can't walk and chew gum at the same time, the evil threat behind the puppet, which clearly cares for neither humanity nor the environment is scrambling to throw blame on everyone else.

I've always thought the principles of the French Revolution were an excellent model.  One the guilty parties are found, they should be taken in a tumbril to a park in Washington, DC, and be beheaded.  If we're going to have blood spilled in Iraq and the Gulf Coast, I think all the budget cutters, slow movers, and the millions of inept in any regime should pay.

How can people get WORSE the more they rehearse?

They took the Lieutenant's red pants that were very NICE and gave him some blue ones that don't match his jacket.

We don't have a stage crew so we have to do the scene changes ourselves.

I forgot my chicken wing.

I have to put the ladies' wigs on for them.

The newspaper came to take photographs when only two of us were there.  And we are not in many scenes together.  But I think I'll make the paper!

We open on Thursday - no wonder people in theatre drink!

But actually in the VAST scheme of things, I don't have any problems.

AND it is Luana Patton in THE RESTLESS YEARS, not Luana Anders!  So you Anders fans, don't run out and try to find TRY.

Yes, DRMBARNUM, we do need the John Saxon Collection:

The Unguarded Moment
Rock Pretty Baby
Summer Love
The Restless Years
This Happy Feeling

Happy B-day DR WEL!!!

I'll abstaine from the TOD other than to say our National governement is ridiculous as is the California State government at the moment.  Do people not matter anymore?  Does education not matter anymore?

But I won't say anymore (Ooo, a "Rags" reference!)

I just wrote in my Live Journal (livejournal.com  user - maestromatthew) and it's way to funny how as I wrote my entry, my "voice" was TOO reminiscent of our dear bk.  It's a style that should be patented!

And now I need to get ready to head back up to Fairfax and then up to NYC this afternoon...

So...

Laters...
