Seven is also a nice number, even considered "lucky" in many contexts. Still, when it comes to internet pages, I hear through online scuttlebutt that there are intelligent and respected people who just don't care for Page Seven.

I also hear there are people who don't care for the word scuttlebutt.  But there it is, and now I'll re-read my previous sentence so that I can say I read it on the internet somewhere.

I like the bit of wordplay "unavoidable for comment" - which is a play on "unavailable for comment" - that is being used recently about certain politicians who never met a camera or reporter microphone they didn't like.

It says here the phrase was used a bit about once NYC Mayor Ed Koch.
