BK's new doctor will be at Wilshire and Robertson. I lived on Clark, one block west and half a block north, and my dentist was in the terraced brick building there on Wilshire, across from what was then the Mercedes dealership.

The dentist had originally been in the California Federal building on the Miracle Mile, as was my optometrist who later moved to the building on Wilshire at Crescent Heights. That guy was great, but he always had an "I'm a Beverly Hills doctor to celebrities" type of attitude. Very full of himself.

Who else was in Beverly Hills? Oh yeah, the wonderful Chinese dentist I was sent to for removal of my left wisdom teeth. He was in the nice old two-story Roxbury Medical Building that I see is still there. A wonderful and calming doctor.

Somehow the treat cup came off the cage wall and crashed to the floor.

Finished with kitty cleanup and making the bed, I now wait for Joshie. I watched on YouTube last Monday's GYPSY event with Audra McDonald. The orchestra playerd our cleaned up Overture: too fast and hard-driven, Too many of today's MDs have no sense of decent 1950s tempi; hard-driven does not always spell exciting.

But yes, that "too fast and hard-driven" rings true. I can't name examples, but I know how different these things tend to sound these days. Anyhoo, a question for DR Elmore:

I don't know the scope of the project, but it sounds like y'all are researching/restoring the original score and parts, as before, but also making good transpositions for this production. Am I close?

Saturday morning greetings! I am now exactly halfway through my radiation treatments and very glad for a couple of days off. This afternoon I’ll watch Michigan football on my iPad and a crafty event on my MacBook all while texting with my sister and niece on my iPhone.
