I've been dealing with Mom's financial advisor and trust questions this morning. It's a whole new world.

Been hankering for a hamburger lately. Maybe a cheeseburger will hit the spot.

I've tried the Five Guys burger couple of times recently.  Really high quality, especially for its relatively reasonable price.

Two very successful Access-a-Ride trips and I am home. I have a kidney issue that has my doctor concerned, so I have a homebond test to be accomplished soon.  She also gave me grief about not drinking enough liquid daily.

The Five Guys in San Antonio may have served me the single worst burger I have ever eaten. They don't freeze the meat, which is fine, but this one tasted past its expiration date. The bun seemed dredged in powdered sugar, also not good. Now, Whataburger is a better choice, if I go with a chain.

Stay hydrated. This was a huge problem with Mom. Don't repeat her mistake.

"River Blue," a 10,000 pound glass sculpture, commissioned by Mohegan Sun Casino. Artist: Dale Chihuly. 25 feet tall.

The Chihuly museum in Seattle was wonderful.

DR JohnG, I confuse Love Lies Bleeding with Kill Your Darlings, about the Beat Generation and Caleb Carr's father.

I don't know Kill Your Darlings. After reading My Beloved Monster, I am intrigued.

:( I guess it's variable from place to place.  I ordered from the Five Guys on 42nd Street near 8th Avenue, near the Port Authority.

That's funny about that library book, DR George.

It was very funny at the time, too!  Sadly, we did have to send it back.

Today would have been the 71st birthday of John McGlinn. I think of him often and sometimes affectionately.

Even though I already had several recordings in this set, I had to get the 13-CD set! ;D

That's really cool.  In Seattle, there's the museum:
