I had this strange dream set in a nice suburban tree-filled landscapre, somewhere between Trenton Ohio and Middletown Ohio. The beginning and setup are largely forgotten, something about a relatively young child with reading (?) issues whom I had driven to his nice suburban home. I might have been his tutor, and there was a card - get well, thank you - to be signed. The child's mother was a real estate agent, I think, and she was preparing a dinner party. For reasons I no longer recall, I put the card into the oven, and when I opened the oven door, there was a human leg, from knee to toe, roasting. It was the maion course for the dinner party. I wasn't surprisded ore upset - the dream was not a frightening nightmare - but the mother wqas m,ostly concerned about the cooking time.
In doing a Google search on The News, I discovered there was a London production the year after it's four performances on Broadway. Why?

Restful vibes to DR Ginny.
Tonight's our first performance of the new season. My wife and I will be singing in a Schoenberg recital-lecture series in Berkeley. Our chorus will sing Friede auf Erden and Dreimal tausend Jahre. We'll actually sing each piece twice, with a lecture and examples in between. I've never done something like this before. Friede is a gorgeous romantic piece of early Schoenberg, while Dreimal is a late serial piece.

Now I just save a few. I write in them and sometimes I transfer information incorrectly so I like to be able to double check my info.Yes, I do collect things other than keychains...but at least I have only saved the Futurama calendars. I have been letting go, or reducing my collections. Calendars take up a lot of room in a drawer.

JB is happy. I bought some pears today, which he hasn’t had in a while.
Caprese salad, Halloween-style
Millstone vibes to the great George.
