Book collecting, the thrill of the hunt, was FUN. When I used to go the the Armory book fair in New York, I would ship home boxes and boxes of books I got there - amazing titles, beautiful copies, and reasonably priced. Those days are gone, I suppose.

Online book fairs are just weird. The entire point is to hold the book, check the condition, be around fellow collectors and friendly dealers, enjoy the camaraderie. Staring at a computer screen doesn't quite do it.

I just finished watching OKLAHOMA! I for the first time really noticed Kelly Brown as one of the farmers/dancers.

He was one of the suitors in 7 Brides For 7 Brothers.....so good looking. And his best role was in Daddy Long Legs where he had a real part with lines AND dancing.

He is the father of Leslie Brown the ballet dancer in The Turning Point.

Took wife’s car to local mechanic today for oil change. Asked him to check one parking brake warning light. When we get the car back, now ALL warning lights are on like a Xmas tree. He can’t figure out why. Now I’m in the shizzle.
