Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Topic of the Day:

Die Hard
Dogma
Galaxy Quest
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Marvin's voice in the motion picture)
Harry Potter and the... (all of them)
Sweeney Todd (didn't love the movie, though)

I was up way too late with the debate, so I did not get enough sleep. To add to my woes,. neither Annabelle nor Thatch ate their breakfast. I hope they're not sick.

Did anyone watch the debate? Tim Walz is sincere, but not a good debater. On the other hand, JD Vance was smooth, polished, and slick as a snake oil salesman. Like the Fat Orange Baboon, he lies with ease, "oozing charm from every pore, he oiled his way across the floor."

The best moment came early, when Nora O'Donnell caught Vance in a lie about illegal aliens, and Vance panicked "you said you wouldn't fact check!"

It's a gorgeous crisp sunny October 2nd.

I might do a few things outside, but I'll definitely be working on these two movements from the violin concertos. And that's inside.

And I seem to have jumped a day this week. Yesterday felt like a Monday pretty much all day, and today feels like it really should be a Tuesday.

No, not jumped a day. Fell behind a day. And I don't like it when I err in that direction.

One is erring when eating a herring while thinking Heering Cherry Liquer is called Cherry Heering, and especially if they think it's called Cherry Herring.

Remember that time James Deering was caught leering at a herring?
