Jennifer, I think BB wants a Janelle/Ivette final, too. Maggie is just too boring. It wouldn't be nearly as exciting.

If it's Ivette/Janelle, I think Ivette would have  Beau, Maggie and James.  Janelle would have April, Howie and Rachael. So the question would be whether April could get Jennifer to vote for Janelle. Not so sure she could do that if Maggie was pulling for Ivette.

Does Sandra Bullock have a part in that too?

...I had this really long sentence going once in a paper about Heart of Darkness and I kept it up just to see how long I could get it. It ended up being 150-plus words. I was so proud.

No, but Drew Barrymore is playing Miriam.

DR JMK -  My trivia answer was in Sat. morning at 8:22, so you beat me by about 14 minutes.  :)

And thank you, thank you, thank you, for letting me know about Gershon Veroba.  I got the Cd today and the parts I've listened to are wonderful.

I've been grandladding again.  I'll post tomorrow.  Right now, I'm pooped, and I've a workday to prep for.

Have fun, everyone.

To correct myself, Angela Lansbury actually lost her 18th Emmy nomination last night. That now ties her with Susan Lucci's losing record. Susan finally won on her 19th nomination.

Well, I did watch and listen to DAYS OF OUR LIVES tonight on the 7 p.m. rerun on SoapNet. Very irritating that the complete song couldn't be heard, but they were too busy having people talking over it, having flashbacks, and storming out of the sanctuary. They even interrupted the song for four minutes of commercials.

The song was nice, I will admit, and I might have liked it more had it been able to have been performed completely.

After I finished EVIL UNDER THE SUN, I put in A HOME AT THE END OF THE WORLD.

Lovely film, very unusual story that embraced love in many facets and so open and welcoming. I found it very moving in several places.

However, as sweet as the end was, I felt the need for a little more closure. I would like for the film to have continued.

I also watched the documentary on the HOME AT THE END OF THE WORLD DVD, and I barely recognized Michael Mayer! When did he gain all that weight? (He'd probably say the same thing about me, but still!) Reminded me a lot of Tony Kuschner when he was heavy.

After I was finished with A HOME, I put in another of my guilty pleasures to take me up to CSI: MIAMI at 10 p.m.: BATMAN & ROBIN. I only watched specific scenes, but found it as tacky and gaudy as ever.

Since I have the series premiere of BONES tomorrow night and the season finale of RESCUE ME, there will be some new episodic TV to take up a great portion of the evening.

So, I didn't have the greatest night of sleep last night, so I'm off now to try again. Maybe tonight will be different.

Good night, all.

The Lovely Wife and I watched the sun go down with a bottle of champers while listening to the early work of our fearless leader, BK, STAGES & TOGETHER AGAIN.  We thoroughly enjoyed both efforts...amused, touched, moved.  TLW wept as she always does on hearing A SLIGHT NEUROTIC.  I suspect, BK, she will be hounding you for the sheet music at some point.

Well, another quaint British series has been ruined by being hyped up with false conflict and non-essential over-the-top energy...CASH IN THE ATTIC on HGTV.

Good Evening!

Back in NYC.

Tired is an understatement right now for me.  But it's a good tired.  And they moved the start time for the auditions I'm playing tomorrow/today from 10:00 to Noon - Yeah, I can sleep in a little.

So, I shall catch up in the morn...  Until then...

Goodnight.

But I did notice the Word of the Day...

There used to be a great little Italian place in DC that would prepare ZABAGLIONE tableside.  -And you could even request to add more - or less - marsala wine to your taste.  :)

Back from a lovely supper, which went much longer than I'd expected.

Happily, Kevin performs the entire song sans interruption on our CD single.
