Robert Israel has created a lovely score using Scottish ballads like Annie Laurie, and he has a full orchestra.

I got word tonight that I will be working every day of early voting. That’s 15 days straight and for 13 hours a day. I hope I have the stamina.

Wow!

I don’t see enough movies in the theater anymore.

The last movie I saw in a theater was last year's Oppenheimer. :-\

Anybody going to see that jukebox musical, Joker: Folie a Deux?

I haven't, but I kind wanna see it.  I didn't see the first one, so I don't know if I would need to see it first.

Starting a costume drama from the silent era: Annie Laurie. Lilian Gish stars in a tale of love against the backdrop of war between the Campbells and the MacDonalds. In other words, it's soup versus burgers.
May the best meal win.

Yesterday I had time to kill while the boy was in climbing class. I wanted to try the Filipino fried chicken chain, Jollibee. But I couldn’t find easy parking.

So I found a Church’s, which I always liked, but figured I was settling. Well, I had 3 of the biggest, juiciest, crispiest thighs ever. Twas a delight.

There used to be a sad Church’s in a sad food court off Times Square near my old home, but it was never as good as this.

I got one section of shelves filled with just cast recordings, but they're not sorted alphabetically, yet:

And the right side of that shelf has the few recordings with larger than normal CD cases that I've come across so far.

I have three more shelf sections to use, but I think I'll also need to get more shelves and so that I can have 10 (or maybe 11) shelves per unit.

On the second shelf unit to the right (Ever to the right...a 1776 reference ;) ), I have one shelf with a few operas and other classical music.
