I think these are probably the last cookies I am going to decorate. I have never been good at it, and it hurts my back after a while. The kids do love the cookies; adults won't take them.

The building inspector has come and gone. I don’t think he was inside the apartment for more than 60 seconds. Clearly just looking for the worst offenses. No objections to my pile of packed books or the boxes I’m still packing. Neither of the managers came in — a good thing.
