Well, eventually things come out in the wash. Supposedly, Monica Keasler, a photographer who lives in Texas, was the one behind reporting Peanut and Fred the raccoon to the NY DEC. She's deleted her social media accounts because of the hatred, but her defense was captured.

There are tons of photos of little Peanuit, but Fred the raccoon mostly exists in videos. He was just a baby.

Trying to remain calm and aloof in advance of tomorrow.

Listening to news, you "hear" them say they are for Harris, but it's Trump, Trump, Trump, clips of Trump, Trump, Trump, and more and more and more Trump, Trump, Trump.

Who are they kidding?

I know they "think" they are showing him at his worst, but his crowds are cheering, he's a very effective "entertainer" who thrives on lies and adulation.

If it weren't for the excessive media coverage of his every word and gesture, the outcome of tomorrow's vote would not be a question mark at this point...in my opinion.

TOD:

If you have Amazon Prime and want a nice movie wallow, even if you've seen it before, Prime has "Death on the Nile" with Peter Ustinov as Hercule Poirot and a very stellar cast.

Twill be a day glummer than gloomy. Non-stop rains. Then winds. Not a beloved combo.

Fell back asleep. Dreamt a weird dream that a Mom was with a volunteered to have me drive a young mother from church and her two daughters in their smartcar north from downtown. It was an easy route, if I could get to I-10, but all of the signs leading there had been purposefully changed. I ended in a used closing store, a scary warehouse and who knows where all else and realized it was a plot.

Well, hold onto your hats! Here's today's phone call story.

About a month ago, I got a call from a Kyle Anderson with the Federal Trade Commission. I returned his call, left a message, and thought no more about it. Last week he left me another message, and I again called and left him one. Thirty minutes ago, he called, and we spoke. He told me that, according to his records, I was a Publishers Clearing House winner in December 2022, and they want to klnow if I accept or decline the win. I told him that I stopped believing in PCH sweepstakes and that I had been for the past 15-20 years tossing out their mail.

But, I was quick to explain, if I had won some money, I could sure use it, so I accept the win.

Mr Anderson gave me the name of a lawyer they use in handling these cases and  a claim number.

DR singdaw you are 100% correct - being retired and going shopping when everyone else is at work is wonderful.

My local WalMart also has sensory friendly times times from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. where no music is played, the lights are dimmed, and folks are encouraged to shop quietly.   :-X
