I slept rather well. Stella spent most of the night pasted to my side, and to my irritation, Annabelle has decided to abandon her princess pillow next to me to sleep smack in the middle of the mattress. I really hate it because her 10 lbs of sleeping beauty prevent my restless legs from moving aboput the mattress. She and I need a discussion, which I know I will lose.

There's a senior citizen/infirm program called Freedom Care that advertises heavily on the TV. I decided that I could use its aid, so I called yesterday and spoke to a nice young lady, who then transferred me to a woman with a cursory connection to the English language. I understood maybe one word in fifty, and I finally in frustration hung up on her. So, I need to call them again today.

I was crazy about the John Huston film of Moby Dick when I was a kid, and although I have no memory of why my poor, low-income parents would pay for me to see it more than once, I swear that I saw it twice. I then spent months drawing ships and whales. I'd like to see it again.
