I also enjoyed hearing about the ukulele fest from DR GEORGE last night.

Such fun!

DR Ron, I’m glad to hear your cataract surgery journey is going smoothly.  I kept a pretty low profile during the between time because my depth perception was off.  No driving until my eyes matched!

George, I am glad your ushering experience was far better than mine.

I'm starting to feel better. I think I will escape this virus without developing the usual sinus infection.

Because one really can't be too cautious.

Is a caution causation?

DR Ron, I’m glad to hear your cataract surgery journey is going smoothly.  I kept a pretty low profile during the between time because my depth perception was off.  No driving until my eyes matched!

I was told to take caution, but my right eye was so much worse than my left that I have a good balance of vision.

The real "trip" is how bright and vivid colors are when I close my left eye and see how much improvement the cataract surgery gave me.  When I close my right eye, there is a considerable difference...rather like watching a film in which color has been muted and has bluish or tannish cast in every scene.

Focusing isn't good at all yet.  I can read with my left eye and both eyes work well with reading glasses for now.  The end result is intended to free me up from wearing glasses at all.

Oddly, I don't remember what I did in the in-between time, but I believe I drove only in the daytime, and probably for nothing much more adventurous than going to the grocery store. I definitely avoided night driving.

The chili is made, and I'm ready to begin the Gypsy work. I've been reading my friend Josh's book aboutby & Shire, so I've been listening to The Sap of Life this morning. Now I want to hear their Cyrano.

I worked with Maltby around 1985; I didn't like him. I met David Shire backstage at Closer Than Ever, and I really liked him.
