Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke lovingly of Miss Carmen McRae, and now it is time for you to post until the Miss Cows come home.

I am, not awake. The alarm rang at 5:30, and I turned it off to sleep longer. Sadly, the cats insisted I feed them, so I got up around 6:15, but it would have been nice to sleep a couple of hours longer.

These days, though, ghosting other people has become quite the thing to do.

Slept very, very well.  Dreamed many dreams, all of which are simply wisps at this point.  Nothing bothersome other than pressing elevator call buttons and then seeing folks get in the elevators and the doors closing before I can enter.

i was in a safe environment, so I didn't get angry.  I decided to leave and wondered if I'd find my car, but it was right where it needed to be.   That just never happens in my dreams.

I have two weeks before my colonoscopy.  Two weeks to do anything I want before prep time.

Of course, Thanksgiving is on one of those days in the second week, and I will be visiting a cousin in Simpsonville SC for that holiday meal.  My cousin Butch and his fiancée Sharon will accompany me.

The first week in December will be, decidedly, fraught with appointments.  Colonscopy on the 1st, a two-week post-op visit with the Eye Guys on the 2nd, and, if I remember correctly, I have another appointment on the 3rd, but I haven't got it written down.

My surgery for the left eye is scheduled for December 12th.

Well, it's Sunday.

Which for me, right now, is kind of like saying, "Well, it's Monday."

For I am back to rehearsal this afternoon and evening, and I've got a five-day run of them now.

For those interested, there is a special on NBC Tuesday night (11/19) about the making of the film version of Wicked (Part 1).
