I am not as hep and with it regarding alliterative foods/days of the week.
Now, that doesn't mean it never happens for me. Almost every week, I have Meatloaf Mondays. It's what they have every Monday at The (Don't Be A Square Eat at the) Triangle just up the road from my house.
Yesterday, however, they had hamburger steak and onions. That was my choice, of course. They also had sliced pork loin and fried chicken and baked chicken. They always have the two chicken dishes, sometimes substituting barbecued for the baked.
Today "may" be a pork chop Wednesday. I can only pray. Lots of times, it's beef liver and onions. That is NOT hitting my plate...ever.
And, naturally, Thursdays are "cubed steak" days.
I guess Johnston really isn't into alliterative food stuffs.
Fridays, however, are ripe for "fried fish". Fried Fish Friday is a weekly occurrence.
