I know you are talking about the Wicked movie; I'll skip that.

I've seen Wicked the Musical three times.

The first time was at Gammage theater in Tempe, AZ. Gammage is notorious for having terrible acoustics. I usually miss most of the dialogue and most of the lyrics.

The second time I saw it was in San Diego, when I was in the LA area for a conference. The conference was on Saturday, we drove to San Diego on Sunday to see the show.

The acoustics were fantastic, and I could follow the story.

The reason we went was because Jason Graae was the Wizard. He got us nice seats.

The third time we saw Wicked was back at Gammage, but at least this time I knew the story.

And Jason was still the Wizard.

It's in my season ticket package again this year, I think.

I decided to clean the snow off the windshield of Dennis the Smart Car, but I had to get the ice scraper out of Petey the Cruiser.

But the clicker wouldn't work to unlock the doors....it was most disturbing.  Until I realized every time I click it - the lights on Dennis were flashing.  I was using the wrong clicker.

Once I went back into the house and got the right clicker all was right with the world....except for the idiots singing at WICKed.

We have snow on the roof, the car windshield, and the grass, but none on the street yet.

But we are under a Winter Weather Advisory.

Stay safe!

I finished reading Peyton Place again for the first time in decades!  I enjoyed it even more this time.....interesting.

It is in a single volume with Return To Peyton Place which I also read.  I still don't understand why the name of the man Constance married was changed from Tom Makris to Michael Rossi....the name they used in the movie and RTPP and the TV show.

Maybe a real Tom Makris turned up and complained.

Do the Partridge Family albums count as TV soundtracks?

Back in the day, way way before YouTube and home video, I greatly enjoyed the comedy excerpts LPs from "The Smothers Brothers" and "All in the Family," which are TV soundtracks, in a way.

I haven't read that in years. I remember that I liked it very much.

Oh interesting DR JOHN G.  Thanks.

My version that has both books was published in 1999 by Random House/Grammercy Books.  Maybe the guy had kicked the bucket by then.

I saw Wicked in the West End and loved it. Can't remember who was in the cast. I'm really looking forward to the movie.

As long as we're fessing up to these things...

I have yet to see WICKED in any format whatever, and I only know a few of the songs because they're such standard audition and recital fare these days.
