THE WIDE LOAD HIT AND RUN AND THE EYEBALLS EXAMINED

Well, you've read the notes, the notes had a wide load, hit and ran, and were examined, and now it is time for you to post until the hit and run cows come home.

Topic of the Day:  I don't remember what my first (or even earliest) ice cream bar actually was, but I do remember really liking ice cream sandwiches...and I still do!  I would take two, then eat one cookie part of each, and put them together to make my own double-stuffed ice cream sandwich!  Yummy! ;D

That sounds almost hedonistic, George!

The Chipwich ice cream sandwich was similar, I think.  It had two very important food groups, chocolate chip cookies and ice cream.

It's a very chilly morning, but I am dressed warmly now, and the cats and I slept toasty warm all night.

I think today I need to deal with the holiday CDs; they need to be dusted off, weeded out and boxed up. Since I have no income work, I might as well accomplish some housework.

I think my first ice cream bar was the Popsicle, although I much preferred the Fudgsicle and the Dreamsicle. I also loved Eskimo pies.

Julie Andrews sings about cherry ripe in Victor/Victoria, but likely that is not referencing the candy bar.

Was there something I saw in a movie where she said she had cherry ripe for pudding?

I stayed in bed a leetle longer than I might have, and here I am, heading for the door. Another day of rehearsals, then a concert tonight. And so it goes.

And a great 18th century song it is! It also features in the first movement of Eric Coates' wonderful "London Suite."
