Nice photos DR GEORGE.

Thanks, Jrand!

One interesting thing: my new eye doctor recommended "office lenses" for me. They expand the mid-range (computer) section of my progressive lenses to almost the whole lens. Since I do intensive computer work all day long, I would wear these while I am working, then switch to my regular progressive lenses the rest of the time.

Interesting.

Finally got the doctor's notes on my bloodwork - the ONLY thing that's near being problematic is the danger of heart attack or stroke and mostly due to weight and diet - so, the obvious suggestion is lifestyle changes - some exercise, lower carbs, way back on sugar, more fiber - so, I'll start doing that now slowly, but really start in the New Year. Everything else is really good - including low risk of prostate cancer.

It sounds good.

Back from the doctor. Despite not having been examined for more years than I care to reveal, my eyes are in good shape. The prescription has changed hardly at all.

That's great, Singdaw!  I need to make an appointment with my eye doctor.  My prescription has changed, but it hasn't changed too much.

I have only ever done Lyft because I found the app easier than Uber.  I don't know why.  Keith has done both, but then Uber came first.

From Bruce:

So excited to get my new crown and finally be able to chew on both sides of my mouth without fear of crowns coming loose and trying to get them back where they belong, which is what I've been dealing with for six YEARS.

I can't believe you suffered that long.  When they first became loose it should have been easy to just cement them back in.

DR Rodzinski, that upside down read for the answer sounds vagely familiar.  I wonder if my kids read those books, or others with the same idea.

Thanks to all for the wonderful vibes.

The procedure went smoothly.  A biopsy on one polyp will yield its results in a day to two.

Everyone was most pleasant and professional.  My new procedure doctor was very good and kind.  He asked good questions and explained everything that was going to happen.  He is a Chinese man named Shan Cheng.....probably in his late thirties with dark black hair with gray at the temples.

I am now on a FIVE YEAR plan.....and the Burger King lunch was wonderful!

Here is his page on the St. Francis website.

Now for today's Twilight Zone experience.

My late uncle had three 35mm photo canisters.  Two of them still had the film lead on them....one obviously had been used. I had them at my house since November of 2021 when he passed away.

This week I remembered them and my sister took them to Walgreens for processing.  The two with the film leads of course had nothing on them.  The other one had many pictures of his house furniture.

The Last Two Photos included one of my kitchen.  And one of my play room with the two chairs I purchased from his estate.  BUT I didn't bring them home until almost a month after he passed away.

We only had the film, not the camera.....so there it is....I guess he approves of how I used them.

Congrats on the procedure and the Burger King.

It was a Chinese dentist in Beverly Hills who extracted my left wisdom teeth, and he seemed like the most wonderful doctor ever. Older guy, at least from my perspective then. Nearly 45 years ago, but one of those you never forget.
