Trying to remember the last time I was sans car.

Our neighbor was in an accident.  Since he is also waiting for parts to fix it he is still driving his car.  Once the parts are all in he will take his car to be fixed.

BK is waiting a long time to be CROWNED, too.

My dentist has been making them same day for some years now, and they're wonderful. I'd imagine a traditionally made one might have a longer expected life span, but who knows. I've got two 3-D printed crowns and two 3-D printed caps in my mouth that are at least a decade old, plus the new crown from last month, and, knock wood, they're wonderful.

That's amazing, ChasSmith!

Our dentist still sends them out.

I wonder if that could be another accident waiting to happen?

Starting The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp, which I have never seen before. But that Michael Powell documentary made me want to watch it.

TOD
Movies
The Time Machine (Rod Taylor, not the remake)
Time After Time (Malcolm McDowell, 1979)

Books
The Time Machine
Time and Again (Jack Finney - why has this never been made into a film?)
Forever (Pete Hamill)

Time and Again was made into a musical, at least. ;)

My friend Constance sent me a hard copy of my script - now titled FOUR ARRESTS OF FRANCES FARMER because I added one.....

Very nice to have a hard copy.

Great news, Jrand!

Got tickets for White Christmas at the movie theater. It’s the 70th anniversary screening.

That would be cool!

My cataract surgery went very well, although it seemed different from the first one.  I must have been a bit more "under" that first go-around.

I was home by 9:45 a.m., though, and the trip took 45 minutes, so...

I sit here with a clear plastic patch over my left eye.  All is cloudy, a bit watery and often gritty, but I shall persevere!

Show-off. ::)

I really don't know how he did it in three.

He's a better Wordler than I.

Wordler could be a character on Batman, like the Riddler.

It took me a couple of viewings to totally warm up to that one, but warm up to it I did. I had never seen it till about ten years ago when one of the really good projectionists who posts on Home Theater Forum ran a pristine 35mm print in a lovely old theeder. That was a great introduction to it, but I watched the Blu-ray at home a couple of times shortly thereafter to thoroughly digest it. It's time to do it again because even now, a couple of moments shown in the documentary didn't look familiar enough to me!

Why?  It is the body of the car that needs fixing, nothing else.

Definately not.  My issue was concern that I would likely drop a tray of food.

All I know is that is enjoys doing it, and thinking about which words to use.  It makes me feel good since I was the one that told him about this game people were playing that I was sure he would like.

DR John your dessert last night sounds incredible, except for the pecans but I expect those are easily removed.

It was. You know, maybe they could do it with toasted hazelnuts. (Wink, wink.)

;D

I can eat pecans I just prefer not to.
