It's just a little over an hour, especially when there's very little traffic. It took me an hour and 40 minutes to get up there because it was pretty much rush hour.

I did have to stop on the way to go to the bathroom, so I stopped at the Tacoma WinCo because they're open 24 hours a day. And then I did a little shopping, completely forgetting that I really did want to get something...dishwasher detergent. So, I still need to get that.

I slept well. I awoke around 4:30 to find all three cats snuggled up against me. I reset the alarm for 6:00 and cuddled under the blankets with Annabelle. Thatch likes playing in caves made from the bedding, but he does not want to be under the blankets with me. I suys[ect it has something to do with the horrors he endured before he was rescued. He's perfectly happy cuddling with me on top of the blankets burt he pasnics if I put a blanket over him.

I am moving cautiously today. Yesterday afternoon, around 4:30, as I stood up to clean up my dinner and the cats, a huge wave of nausea hit and, before I could get to the toilet, I was sick all over myself and the bathroom floor. Cleanup was an ordeal because of the limited space in the bathroom and my mobility issues. I had to bathe as well once the floor was cleaned up, so the whole ordeal took me around ninety minutes.

Once I was out of the bathroom and dressed in clean clothes, I gave the cats their nightly treat, lay down and read some of Robert Rodi's hilariou 2-volume treatise on Jane Austen's novels, Bitch in a Bonnet, then we all watched Midsomer Murders and went to bed.

Thank you. I'm sure a lot of it's nerves. I was telling the cats this morning we're in for another Hard Candy Christmas like last year. I thought this one would be easier, but I'm still hanging on for the A&T book to be published and the Moonshine & Mistletoe CD to be released, and I still have no idea if the ballet will ever see another production. My patience wears thin as my finances dwindle.
