I slept quite poorly. I was in bed by 9:00, and woke just before midnight with terrible abdominal cramps thaty sent me off to the bathroom for thirty minutes. When I got back to bed, I spent the next five hours trying to get comfortable, dozing, tossing and turning, and playing with Thatch.

I did have one dream about going to my paternal grandmother's for Thanksgiving. While the actual trips to an Appalachian Kentucky mountain holler were bad enough, with car wheels stuck in mud on unpaved dirt roads, no indoor plumbing, poisonous snakes like copperheads and water moccasins sometimes hiding in the closets, in the dream my parents, my brothers, and I were wading through river water up to our waists. Strangely, when we got to my grandmother's, we were in the house where I grew up at 3003 Goldman Avenue in Middletown, OH.

Today, I am back to the iTunes mess. I spent over an hour yesterday reconstructing the 2001 files of Babes in Toyland. Everything was on the hard drive, but only 2/3 of it transferred back to my iTunes, and it took what seemed forever to locate things on the hard drive. It helped that I had the original CDs so I could use them as guides. Today, I will chewck out all of the 2001 recordoings anmd oinsure that I've got everything downloaded.

I also discovered that all of Drat! The Cat, except for one file, has disappeared from the hard drive. I suspect similar messes will plague me for some time.
