I like Peter Riegert. So sue me!

Isn't he in Crossing Delancey?

BK (and anyone else), do you know what an "emordnilap" is?  I came across this video short and found it quite interesting (especially for BK)!

I Built An Emordnilap Machine

:D

That was fun - and most informative!

This was fun :)

Date nut bread with cream cheese was a "thing" back in the day, was it not?

It was and I would still eat it.

Leonard is too smart to play with toys. The only thing he likes are shoelaces. Anything else he quickly abandons. And he gives me a "You've got to be kidding" look when I give him a toy.

Will he chase a shoelace if you drag it around?

JB likes shoelaces, too.

Cute.  What does he do with them?

Sunday morning greetings.  Apropos to this $&%@ year, we’ve cancelled our trip to Illinois for Christmas.

I am sorry.  I know how disappointed you are.  I hope you can do a video chat and watch the girls open some of their presents.

Oh no! Im.so sorry.

I know it's not as good as an actual in person visit but what we do with Vixter &  Vixhubby  every year is set up the zoom, sit in front of our respective trees, have breakfast of blueberry muffins and tea together,  then open presents together

That sounds lovely.  You do more than we do.  We simply watch Freyja open our gifts.

It is 26 degrees here headed for 38 degrees.

It was 14 when I left for the theeder, and 20 now.

Both are too cold, especially 20 degrees.  I do not miss walking on days like this.

Today’s notes offered a mild Riegert rebuke.

Here’s a story you may have heard from me before, but I was able to tell my full version finally after a Birmingham reporter had botched it some time ago. If you don’t want to read, you can also listen to my expanded audio version linked at top.

Thank you, DRs Freddie, Vixmom, Singdaw, and Jane for the kind words about our scuttled holiday plans.  The girls have one present to open (not from us, alas) on Christmas morning that I hope to witness on video chat.
