I'm still not responsible for anything I post, though.

I took down the Sad Christmas Tree, and Leonard is zooming around the living room.

I wish you had a video.

That's OK.  It's the Page That Shall Not Be Named, anyway.

Our Safeway closed yesterday.

Permanently?? :o

It was a possibility if the Kroger/Albertson merger had happened.

I'm thinking of making a trip to Big Lots to see if I can score some lights for the Christmas Tree next year. They are going totally out of business, so maybe there's some good prices. I don't need anything except lights.

Good luck!

Speaking of Big Lots, last week, I ordered some vinyl cast recordings through Big Lots (I think Tower Records is involved, but I can't find their name in my e-mails).  Anyway, all the records were on sale for less than $10 each!  The total for the order came to $68.37, then there was a promotional discount of $-21.48, for a grand total of only $46.89! :D

Then, I found all the records on Amazon to see what the "real" price would be, and it came to $533.69!! :o

HOWEVER, one album is from a seller in England, so that adds a bit to the price ($78.76), and one other is only available autographed for $149.99.  But even adjusting a bit for those, the "new" value would still be over $400! ;D

AND, only two recordings are double dippers (I already own the CDs of those specific recordings).  The rest are all completely new to me.

Back from the bank - first in, first out - then CVS (more Claritin-D and two light bulbs). Allergies have calmed down a bit, so that's spiffy.

Very good news on both fronts!

Maybe I’ll think of others, but no one else is coming to mind.

Love the method of the reveal!      :)

Yes! They didn't start a wildfire or destroy public property.

Or maim an innocent bystander!

Our Safeway closed yesterday.

Permanently, or just for the day?

Just for the day thank goodness.  We stopped there on our way home from the gym and shopped.

Ah.

Oh.  We've got a Fred Meyer and a Safeway right across the street from each other. :-\
