I like Double Indemnity except for two things:

They discuss in the extras the wig, wwhich Stanwyck initially hated. It was a key to how cheap her character was. A studio exec said she looked like George Washington.

Someone did a similar thing about Rebecca Luker on a Gypsy thread. The original poster said that Danny Burstein and Audra had a real relationship in Gypsy, of course, meaning the characters seemed like they had a real relationship. Well, some idiot came in and posted how dare you insinuate that Danny and Audra are having a relationship - how dare you smear the memory of Rebecca Luker. I mean, that is the very definition of insanity and we all went in and told him off - and of course, he never came back or apologized or removed his stupid post.
