Back then, the relationship was fantastic. In 2007, she was the excellent line producer of THE LAST STARFIGHTER at NYMF, and even flew to Seattle and joined us in Issaquah, Washington to be on our talkback panel for the Village Theatre workshop of LAST STARFIGHTER in 2008.

Even a month after the Jan. 2018 VIVA MAX! presentation, she co-produced an evening of Skip's work at 54 Below in Feb. 2018 (which included work from VIVA MAX! and THE LAST STARFIGHTER, and of course TIME AND AGAIN).

During my freshman year of college a friend told me she went home for Christmas break and slept for three days! Three days! Even when I was young and a good sleeper I never did that! I’m thinking that that may be what I need, though. 😉 Maybe bk, too.

When I think back to all the tension and angst leading up to the election it makes sense.

which was enjoyed by three generations of the Jim Lehrer family who came to see it at the Actors Temple, plus Jim's co-star on the MacNeil/Lehrer Report, Robert MacNeil.

A very talented lady, and I was (and am) proud of the work I did with her before that 2018 presentation. But my feelings towards how unrealistically she treated the project (and the business of being a theater writer) after that reading can, I think, be compared to Elmore's feeling towards John McGlinn.

I also very much enjoyed that presentation and was delighted to be invited

Feel better, Vixmom. I, too, have been ailing. Not sure if I got a little of what the girls in the house had, or I overindulged in sweets on Boxing Day, but I was in bed all yesterday. Tummy was upset. Feel a little better today, but still a bit weak.

I wish I understood.

Jim Lehrer has passed away since then. He was very happy with what we were doing in adapting his novel as a musical - and the Lehrer family has extended our rights.

I'd love for Julie to rejoin the project if opportunities occur, or if we can make opportunities happen ourselves.
