I had to drop something into the trash can on the deck.

I did not realize it had gotten so chilly. I stepped a foot out of the back door and it was like dipping my toes into a cold and wet water puddle.

Then because it's windy, too, I couldn't get the lid back on.....I finally had to turn on a light to get it done.

Whew! Farewell to 2024!

Ever since I was little and we read the Weekly Reader and I watched TV news and read Life Magazine and The Saturday Evening Post and The Reader's Digest....I thought we would have to go to war to lose our country to the Russians......

But now it seems that it's being handed over to them free and clear.....

I am not happy and I do not expect any good news for the next year or so....

But other than that - I'm doing fine.
