I ha grilled salmon, garlic mashed potatoes, and assorted veggies. This was from the place that used to be
Louise’s. Same owner, I think. He started a place with an exotic menu at very high prices, but that closed.

The ghost kitchen sub shop that was so good has now closed. Nobody knew about it. Better and cheaper than Jersey Mike’s. But gone.

One of the things I’d like to see in 2025 is more new restaurants. Good food, quality, at fair prices. We lost so many due to Covid.

I'd even take DR MichaelG's Christmas lasagna.

Just to be clear, it was my brother-in-law's lasagna, a family tradition. I was just a delighted eater. And I knew to sit away from the center of the table so I didn't have to serve it!

A neighbor and friend of theirs who had recently lost her husband had the center seat reserved for her. She was a real kick and a great sport about it - and she's one of the better servers we've had in years! I had to do it once before I learned.

Red meat. It was pretty darn good. And tender. Maybe something close to bison.
