As soon as evening kitty cleanup was over amd I gave the cats their treats, I got a glass of egg nog and two Christmas cookies, lay dwn on the bed, and watched the last four episodes of Cranford. Around 9:00 there was a noisy storm, which most likely dampened the misnight festivities.

When Cranford ended, Amazon Prime went right in to Return to Cranford and I watched the first episode. I then gave Thatch and Stella their special treat, which they love and Annabelle ignores. I was shortly asleep, and for the second time in two yeaqrs I was not awakened by noisy midnight celebration.

I worry about that each morning when one of the cats is slow in comiong to tell me they want breakfast while I'm dressing.

I think I was in bed by 12:30, maybe a little later, and I turned on TCM to have something to lull me to sleep. They were in the middle of Repeat Performance (1947), a movie I swear I'd never even heard of, let alone seen, but it sounded interesting so I watched until I finally fell asleep.....about five whole minutes later.
