The week between Christmas and New Year's Day is always a "no man's land". No matter how much I try, I cannot keep track of what day it is. The past few days have all been Sunday!!!

And today feels like a Monday!

That said, I am looking forward to today's Rose Parade from Pasadena. A friend of mine (and Bruce) worked on the float for the City of Burbank. Marshall Harvey has averaged ten hours (or so) a day for a couple of weeks working on part of that float. He said around 200 folks donated their time to make the vision a reality. I expect it will be spectacular. I think it's going to be the seventh float in the parade, but just remember it's for the City of Burbank.

Yesterday morning, I was wondering what to buy for my New Year's Day lunch. Everywhere in this area is now closed for the day, but I thought about getting something to prepare just especially.

And then came the text invitation from my cousin Debra to join her and family for collards, black-eyed peas, sweet taters, cornbread, fried pork ribs, and dessert.

I guess I know what I'm having for lunch today!!

Other than those bits of info, I have nothing of import to share. I partook of the annual "The Thin Man" day on TCM yesterday. All the "Thin Man" movies shown in order of release. A lot of fun, but each one was a bit "thinner" than the last. Still, Powell, Loy and Asta shore up everything for me.

Tonight, I do believe TCM is presenting all the "That's Entertainment" films.
