Or something like that.

Ordered a burger that got delivered elsewhere - to an office building - hardly looks like a HOUSE.

I have started Fedora. It’s creaky. The homophobic jokes aren’t very good. But it’s better than I remember.

And finally:

Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas face off in John Carney’s Power Ballad, a musical comedy about a wedding singer, a rock star, and the song that comes between them. Jesse Eisenberg will soon begin production on an untitled musical comedy starring Julianne Moore and Paul Giamatti. The story will center on a shy woman who blooms when she’s cast in a musical being staged by a local community theater. And Geremy Jasper (Patti Cake$) directs Sadie Sink, Regina Hall, and Kelly Macdonald in O’Dessa, a postapocalyptic rock opera about a farm girl on an epic quest.

Oh, my.  Those sound...interesting. :)

The Julianne Moore and Paul Giamatti movie sounds a bit like Kurt Vonnegut's Who Am I This Time?.

The new dance sensation is the limbo lambada.

They should combine that with the Lindy.

Fedora is over. I think one of the many problems it has is that it’s too easy, too evident from the start, which means there is absolutely no tension whatsoever.

It’s heartbreaking to see so much of LA’s heritage gone, not to mention homes and businesses.

Muse Margaret called and had not one thing to fix. She loved it and said she was laughing throughout, so that's good. My favorite kind of call.

We will need a MAJOR donation effort. I read that the LAPD doesn’t have enough supplies, and, of course, the shelters will need food, clothing, blankets, and so on. I don’t know how well we were prepared, either. But I like Mayor Karen Bass. We shall see.

I have the air purifier on full-time. It hasn’t been noticeably bad indoors. I haven’t gone outdoors today, both to avoid bad air and to help keep the roads clear.
