The Burt Bacharach score is lovely.

I have started Arthur, which I haven’t seen since it opened.

Always good advice:

I know it's crazy, but it's true

Christopher Cross is from San Antonio. He still lives here.

I’ve always liked him, especially “Sailing”.

Watched thirty minutes of a movie. Enjoyable, for what it is. But for now - back to writing.

The media has been saying the winds were coming for the past twenty-four hours. Hopefully, they'll be as wrong as they usually are.

This is quite a loss.

An estimated 100,000 scores and parts by the groundbreaking 20th-century composer Arnold Schoenberg were destroyed last week when the wildfires in Southern California burned down the music publishing company founded by his heirs.

This is very sad :(

No original Schoenberg manuscripts were destroyed in the fire. But the loss of Belmont’s collection could create problems for orchestras, chamber music groups and soloists planning performances of Schoenberg’s works in the months ahead. Other Schoenberg memorabilia was also destroyed in the fire, including photographs, letters, posters, books and arrangements by other composers of Schoenberg pieces.

Sometimes it feels good to be wrong.  Hopefully this is one of those times.

Well, the movie was still sweet. And bittersweet.

And I don't know if I realized until now that Liza and Barney Martin were in Chicago on Broadway together. Only she was Roxie and he was Amos, not father and daughter.

That Deadline article seemed weirdly more about Rowling and Weinstein than Gaiman.

Beyond the Valley of the Dolls has a high sleaze factor.

Auto Focus about Bob Crane, was ultimately pretty sleazy.

But the George Mendeluk film Stone Cold Dead with Richard Crenna, that one really wallows in sleaze.

Sleepaway Camp. That one haunts me. A truly sleazy film uses its low budget to create a memorably sleazy atmosphere.

Like Body Double tries to be sleazy but it’s so slick, whereas Sisters is really unpleasantly sleazy.
