Tonight, I am having dinner at Mixtli, the high end Mexican restaurant that earned a Michelin star. And the place my article is about.

Futzing and finessing took forEVER. Almost three hours. So, change of plan and Muse Margaret will get new pages tomorrow morning. That way, I can finish the chapter I'm on.

One of the reasons it took so long is because I had to do more research and I also made a small change that required me to adjust a few things.

MIXTLI

MEESH-LEE, MIX-TLI / has the variant form MEX-TLI: Aztec spoken word for cloud.

Freddie, I have always enjoyed reading your parody lyrics in the comments.
I have missed them!

They haven't gone away.  They're still there!   I think you in particular might enjoy my "Feliz Navidad" parody lyric under the Dec. 23 2024 New York Today, because it combined the column's Christmas story with theater. That one's more feel-good and making a point than ha-ha funny.  That one's in the comments under here https://www.nytimes.com/2024/12/23/nyregion/even-santa-claus-is-in-debt-this-christmas.html#commentsContainer

Very funny! I love your parody lyrics!

Yesterday I had my 3-month follow-up with the radiation oncologist.  She was pleased with my progress and OK’d a visit to my hairdresser.  Won’t Tina be surprised?

This is great news, Ginny!
I have my first consultation with a radiation oncologist in a few weeks.

Thank you, DR Iris - and everyone.

I wish you all the best for that consultation and whatever ensues.  Are you still thinking of going to Sedona?

Yes, Ginny, still hoping to get treated in Sedona.
Working on it!

The last two hours have been bloody absolute hell. Whatever has been ailing me for the past two years has returened and I was twice violently  ill, once in the bathroom since I cannot move quickly at all these days, and then 30-45 minutes later in the living area. I've had a bath and two changes of clothes. It's been positively disgusting, and I've no guarantee it will not happen again. Tomorrow I must do laundry.

NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! :(
