I can't find any of the German comedies and musicals that Billy Wilder wrote in the 1930s before immigrating to Paris, then the U.S. I figure if YouTube doesn't have them, they probably aren't available.

Muse Margaret called and once again had zero notes and loved all the new pages. The one little sequence I mentioned the other day as a gift from above, was her favorite thing in this batch of pages.

Happy news indeed.

Starting a Boris Karloff zombie flick called The Walking Dead. Edmund Gwenn co-stars. Michael Curtiz directs. It has a fun premise. But I can't stay awake for it all tonight.

I have been out camping in the desert. Leonard is glad I am home.

How nice, Laura!

Where did you camp?

What kinds of wildlife and birds did you see?

I am very fond of hummingbirds, quail, cardinals, roadrunners, woodpeckers, warblers,  and every color finch.

I raised families of quail in my yard when we lived in Phoenix.

The babies running after their mom are really adorable.

I have another eye doctor appointment on Monday morning. The eye surgeon wants a few tests that he's not equipped to do - he's thinking depending on the results, we might not have to go the MRI route, and I'm all for THAT.
