I set it to preheat. Then when I went to check on it, there was a fire under the fat-catching rack. I put the rack near the bottom, and I think something paper must have been stuck under it.

I got a call a few minutes ago to cover for the speaker at a birding festival in southern Arizona tomorrow morning. So I guess I'll be off shortly for a quick overnight stay in southern Arizona. The speaker is ill.
