I finished watching Pride and Prejudice last night before the cats and I settled in for the night. Today I have no plans except to laze around. Tomorrow I plan to stay busy making pasta sauce, tidying up ther apartment, and staying far as possible away from any TV cxoverage of the Coronation of the Fat Orange Felon. I've watched the scumbag swear on the Bible to uphold the law and the Constitution, and I have no irge to see the little Adolph lie to his a-hole followers again. I'd only go near a TV tomorrow if I were promised I'd see John Wilkes Booth blow off his orange face.

Speaking of last night's Pride and Prejudice, I really like Carl Davis' score for the series. He does some lovely things with the themes from the opening credits. and at one point he turns Mozart's "Voi che sapete" from Le Nozze di Figaro into a romantic late-night walk through Pemberly.

Today is the last day of democracy, patriotism, Americanism and Freedom from intolerance, injustice, and from tyranny.

Embrace it, as tomorrow begins an unending period of mourning for those things.

I really should go out and get the few things at the supermarket that I thought of getting yesterday but put them off till today.

Could I do without them? Yes. I'd just rather know they're here.

Actually, I just thought of a couple of things I need from Costco, too. Damn.
