The Palisades fire is now 82% contained, but I still hear sirens all day long. A single siren might be a trip to the hospital unrelated to these fires, but so many sirens at once, as we have at the moment, makes me think they must be fire engines. It began raining last night about 9 and rained most of today. The rain will help, but this is, sadly, not over.
