THE BOB AND JULE NOTES
« on: January 27, 2025, 12:27:33 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes posited that people are posters and posters are people, as is Soylent Green, and now it is time for you to post until the posting cows come home.

Loved the lovely lyrics in the notes, BK!

Curse you, BK! I loved the Posting song lyrics, but so did Annabelle. She started singing the song while I was preparing their breakfast,. and now she's now sitting on the computer table next to me and singing the song over and over and over and over and . . .

Oh, God! Now Thatch has joined her, and Stella's beating her tambourine as accompaniment.

It's so good, three cats are ignoring their breakfast to sing. Curse you, BK!

I expect two things today: complaints about my noisy but talented kitties and an email from the landlord about the noise.

I think today I will print out what I need for my 2024 tax prep. I can only work so long each day on the iTunes mess before my head begins to spin.

I can't remember if I was still working for the New York State Theatre Institute (NYSTI) after I discovered HHW in 2004, but between 1994 and 2004, I did two shows for them, A Tale of Cinderella while got a recording and DVD and a NY State tour, The Snow Queen, and Magna Carta. Around 2007 or so, the company folded amidst a lot of nasty allegations that hurt friends of mine who worked with the Institute.

My friend Patricia di Benedetto Snyder, who founded the company and ran it until its demise, has written a lavish history, jampacked with wonderful photos of productions and posters, and she sent me a copy this week. It's huge, it weighs a ton, and I'm having a great time just browsing though it. When I have more time in the next few weeks, I will actually read it.

They say it's going to rain here today. In the winter, if it rains in California, we might get it next.

In the summer, the rain comes from the south.
