When casting this show, I insisted that if anyone had major conflicts, not to audition and/or clearly list them. And we cast accordingly. Today, Doug gets an email from one of our ensemble gals - Oh, I'm shooting a movie (sure she is) next week but I "think" I'll be able to get to rehearsals on time. Oh, and I'm out of town after that for eleven days. I mean, what is WRONG with people. Doug said, "I don't know how to reply to this email." I said, "Reply thusly - nice knowing you."

Bingo!

I had an appointment in Aiken SC today to get my new CPAP...the ResMed11 with the N20 nose cap.

One other person was there, as well, and most of the training was directed at him although my new machine required me to listen, as well, as some things are different from my ResMed10.

So far, are you pleased with this new machine?

DR George will either you or your sister be there for the discussion with the surgeon?

No.  Mom still doesn't know when the surgeon will see her.  He/she/they may just show up anytime with no way for us to know to be there or to get there in time.

Hope your mom is able to return home today.

Well, most likely not.  She's going to talk with a surgeon because I guess it looks like surgery is the better option. :-\

DR George, I hope everything turns out well for your mother.

Thanks, Larry. (And I hope you don't mind that I put your message in the correct place for the quote. ;D )

Not at all. I just discovered my error and corrected it.

When I was directing THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER - I had a small group of boys who played the choir that came in at the end of Act Two.

One night after rehearsal, one of the boys raised his hand and said, "My mom told me to tell you that I won't be able to be in the show, we are going on vacation."

I said:  "Well then, you don't have to come to any more rehearsals."

He said: "Oh I can come to all of the rehearsals, I just can't be in the show."

I said:  "Have you mother call me."   She never did, and I didn't see him again.

I was afraid of that.  At least your mother has an idea of what questions to ask.  Still, I hope she takes notes.

LOL.  That kid must have been disappointed he couldn't be in the show.

DR Iris, the radiation staff at Lenox Hill Hospital were fantastic, and very kind and patient with my mood swings fears. After three years, I remember none of their names, but they were wonderful. I cannot speak for DR JRand74, but the radiation did some real numbers on my mental state during those two months. Be careful. I hope it goes smoothly for you.

Thank you, Larry. Very comforting.
I think that radiation will be far easier to tolerate than the 6 rounds of chemotherapy and surgery.

Our dinner last night was in the same little strip mall as our gym.  As well as wanting to try the Italian restaurant we have been wanting to try the Thai restaurant next door.  When I mentioned that to our friends last night we found out they never want to return there.  It seems that multiple tv's were all playing Fox News.

Now I am curious if a Thai restaurant has changed their tv viewing.
