The library got the new recording of Sunset Blvd. It’s live, which adds an eerie quality to the end of With One Look. But I am not overly impressed so far. The Betty is no Judy Kuhn. The Joe is bland.

The creep builders were out there with there endlessly beeping in reverse trucks - I got up at eight-fifteen because I could take no more. An hour later? Silence. And silence ever since. So, what the HELL was all that noise at seven-thirty in the morning.
