A trip to the library. Some more Billy Wilder films are in, including Arise, My Love, which he wrote the script for but didn't direct.

I am home in one piece and a little surprised that I survived the stairs in the lobby.

DR singdaw, thanks for the information on the HP printer. Hopefully, Jen will know what needs to be done.

I am over the moon abut today being National Hot Chocolate Day!

I love hot chocolate.

I too love hot chocolate.  I like it made with steamed milk, extra chocolate, and cinnamon.

Without even knowing it was National Backward Day, I've actually been doing my routine things in somewhat reverse order this morning. Incredibly, bizarrely, I am only now about to get my first cup of coffee.

Clever you :)

This is really weird. I usually view Facebook on Safari on the MacBook or the iPad, but sometimes I use Chrome on the Mac and I forget why I began doing that. There was something that Chrome did better, no idea now what it was.

ANYHOO ... I just now checked Facebook on Chrome, and every post in my feed is from the group "My Cat is an Asshole" which I joined a few days ago. Every post. I refreshed the browser to make sure that I was indeed in my feed and not on their page by mistake. Nope. Every post. As far down as I scroll. I came back to Safari, went to Facebook, and all is normal. Or as "normal" as Facebook gets.

I forgot it was Who’s Line and thought George was working at a production of Whose Life Is It Anyway, which really threw me when he described it as a laugh riot.

I wonder how many young folks even got the joke of the show’s title.

In Amy Schumer’s recent-ish show, she had radiation treatments or something that required a long time in a tunnel on a table, and the radiologist fancied himself a DJ, playing music he thought she’d like. Later she hired him as a DJ for a party.

I finished interesting reading. Someone posted an unpublished autobiographical manuscript by director Jack Smight, where he goes through his whole career, telling the behind-the-scenes tales.

He directed, Kaleidoscope, No Way To Treat A Lady, Harper, The Traveling Executioner, I’d Rather Be Rich, Rabbit Run, Airport 75, Midway, Fast Break, Damnation Alley, et al.

What a story!  Funny how things work.

Jen just taught me how to scan.  We already had the app - I figured she had to have downloaded it when she set up the printer - so it was really a piece of cake.

This is an interesting and fun story even though the need for the treatments is not fun.

Back from storage. Found the first of two boxes pretty quickly. Took ten minutes to find box 2, which of course was at the bottom of a pile of boxes. They're all here now - and we were in and out of there in thirty minutes, so much easier than I thought it would be.
