I tried Instacart a few days ago, and used them to order from Walmart, which is about 25 minutes from me.

Imagine my surprise when I noticed a $7.00 “long distance delivery fee”.

They sent the shopper to a Walmart one hour away from me, much closer to Washington, DC, than to Baltimore.

I called to complain, only to be told nothing could be done about it.

That's just wrong!

It was just a nice, little one screen theater at the time. It’s become a cultural and film center.

Thanks DR Iris.  Basically your only preference of the airports is convenience for flights.  Good to know.

Oh, and Craig is in Silver Springs.

I lived and worked in Silver Spring for many years.
I flew out of Reagan/National often, and Dulles on coast to coast flights.
BWI would also be a good choice, about one hour away, all depending upon traffic.

If one is to believe the forecast, it will be in the 80s by Wednesday.

Wow!  We're supposed to get some sn*w over the next several days!

Our weather is pretty much the same only it might be a couple degrees warmer here.

I think he is about the same distance between BWI & National.  Dulles is a bit farther.

He’s closer to National, but BWI is an option.
Most flights in and out of BWI are on Southwest.

No wonder he likes Southwest, and maybe why we didn't go out of BMI.  On mapquest they seem about the same difference but he said traffic is worse for him returning from National.  In the past we flew out of Dulles.

Today is National Dark Chocolate Day.

Not really a fan of dark chocolate.

I never was until I got GERD and dark chocolate does not cause the same reaction.  I still don't care for most dark chocolate.

That's too bad.

I know.  I rarely eat my favorite chocolate, Lindt milk chocolate.

I think the problem is that I ordered from Instacart.

The shopper said that they are not allowed to choose a location if it’s from Walmart or Costco. I will still probably use Instacart, but only for local stores.

Amazon is even worse. I rarely receive orders on time, if at all, even though I’m a Prime member.

I don’t have a car, so online shopping is essential for me.

Jane, they do give you snacks afterwards. But they don't want you to go in on an empty stomach. The muffins will be for before the worship service so there's some time to digest them.

I'm surprised about Instacart. My experience with them has always been they know where I live and choose accordingly. Your experience is very disappointing and so is their reaction to it - I'd get a supervisor on the phone, if possible.

Otherwise, what happened to you is exactly what happened with DoorDash - sending someone eight miles away when I have the restaurant 1.5 miles from here.

Went to the bank, picked up two important envelopes, went to Gelson's and got stuff for faux chicken stroganoff.
