Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Keith got Wordle in three today.

Keith seems to be making a habit out of that!

About to run out of Pepcid. Looked at my previous order with Amazon Fresh and they still have the 50 count size for $9.18. That is more than twenty bucks less than anywhere else - I bought four and that should keep me for some time.

I had a nice long phone chat with my niece and grandniece.  It is Girl Scout cookie time.  Of course we purchased a bunch of boxes, not to be delivered here ;D

Saw an intriguing movie called End of the Century. It plays with time telling the story of two men who meet. They've met before, but the story plays out differently. In the supposed present day, they have sex first and then get to know each other. Twenty years in the past, the two looking n different, meet first and it leads to sex. Really enjoyed it.

Very interesting.  I may need to check this one out. ;)

I think you'd enjoy it.

Back to Psych the Musical. Ally Sheedy is a hoot and a half as one of the guest stars.

Roasted mushroom pot pie is in the oven. It took way too much time. But it smells good.

But does it have a checkerboard crust?

The Victorian where we used to live, when we first moved to Saint Paul, before it was sold and we were booted out.

Every July 4, the owner pulled out these props from the set of Field of Dreams. They used these cutouts in the stands to avoid having to pay so many extras.  [click to embiggen a smidge]

A fun memory.

Thanks for the heads up, DR ChasSmith. I just snagged a copy of the piano/vocal for Drat! the Cat! and I will recreate your experience.

Here's the link to the Times obituary for Merle Louise, who passed away Jan. 11 at 90.

https://www.nytimes.com/2025/02/03/theater/merle-louise-simon-dead.html
"Merle Louise Simon, a Sondheim Mainstay, Is Dead at 90
She originated roles in four of his Broadway musicals between 1959 and 1987, and won a Drama Desk Award for her performance in “Sweeney Todd.”"

Thanks for the link, Freddie.

I don't specifically remember the musical episode, but I think I have the entire series on DVD...or at least most of it.  I'll have to check.
