Thanks, John!

Their chimichangas were quite good, too.

Texas is a cheaper place. Those cost more.

Waffle House is now charging a 50-cent surcharge on egg dishes because of the egg shortage, according to NBC.

I did not go to the gas station.  Dennis was only ONE notch below full.....so it would have only cost $5 or less to fill the tank.

At Goodwill I found a nice black pair of dress pants - which turned out to be brown when I got them home.....a yellow IZOD sweater.....a Broadway Karaoke CD....a nice necktie.....and three LPs....

Gene Pitney's Greatest Hits....Teresa Brewer Songs Everybody Knows.....and a stereo LP of the OBC of MAME with Miss Angela Lansbury [my LP copy is MONO] - and tucked inside the LP a copy of the sheet music for the title tune.  Worth $1.49 to be sure.  And a list of Vocal Selections Books Now Available!

The first book listed.....DRAT! THE CAT!

Tonight I am hosting a group at church. So far I have made: blueberry lemon biscottis, TWO cranberry orange cakes (the last one went so fast!), brownies with walnuts, chocolate-dipped sugar cookies, blueberry mango mini-loaves, pretzel bites, and baba ganoush.

My DH bought eggs from the restaurant supply store - so I had some left. I used quite a few today. I have no idea how much eggs are these days.

My Goodwill has been out of frozen meatballs for 14 days.

I paid $2.96 for one half dozen eggs yesterday.

Goodwill sells food?

It took 40 minutes to walk home from the car place. I get the car back around noon Thursday.

That's not bad.

I wondered when we would begin seeing this.  I've noticed egg dishes are already costing more.

I purchased a velvet hoodie once and was surprised to find it was a different color once I was out in the sunlight.  I slightly preferred the green color it appeared inside the store but was fine with the actual pretty brown color.

Okay, I see some sheet music and I do sort of recognize it.

And there's the LIVE original cast recording -- which I gather is so bad sounding it's not even worth it? I can take less than great sound, but everyone's comments about this one make it sound like you'd be rueing the day...
