I dislike losing power any time of the year but winter is especially hard if the heat also goes out. In the three houses on wells we always lost our water as well. Two of those houses had oil heaters so we only lost the heat when the oil delivery was late, not because the power went out.

Asked me if I could digitize some songs for him from vinyl. I said sure. He proceeded to send me about 25 records to digitize. These were those soundtrack bootlegs you used to find, and some of these records had like 40 songs each. Quite the chore. But I hope he enjoyed hearing before he died.
