Verdi's Otello! A great chorus show without it being an insanely huge part like this one. I'm taking today off to rest the voice, but I'll have to review the score every day the rest of the week to be ready for the weekend performances. So many words.

I guess I'm a trendsetter? I had COVID last month, before the rest of you. The only way I knew it was COVID vs a cold was the COVID test. It was the mildest case I've had yet. Vibes that all who have it now are feeling better soon.

It seems most people these days only know they have covid vs a cold is by testing.

You are lucky, scratchy is what my throat felt like before I got sick, and basically what it feels like now.

Because of my allergies I pay attention to what my throat looks like so I know if I am sick or not.

As one of the proofers, let me back ip ChasSmith’s earlier comments about what fun this book is. Like retired detective Harry Stearns, I hate Vegas. But I loved BK’s recreation of world that exists no longer, a world of glamour and glitz, with something sinister not too far below the surface. There’s even a Sondheim reference or two, making the Easter eggs worth the hunt. But it’s the relationship between Harry and his secretary Bernice that I enjoyed the most.
